Chicago Tribune Endorses Dan Seals (IL-10)
Last week, The Chicago Tribune editorial board endorsed Dan Seals in Illinois’ 10th Congressional District Democratic primary. In the endorsement annoucement, The Tribune called Dan “smart” and “well prepared” and praised him for having a “better grasp of local issues and concerns” than his primary opponent, Jay Footlik.
This important endorsement was followed by Dan’s big win in the Tenth Congressional District Democrats Convention Straw poll on January 20th. Dan easily defeated Jay Footlik 180-44, and recieved the endorsement of US Senator Dick Durbin during the event.
